Agency Workers Regulations - Key Facts

Client Benefits

The Agency Workers Directive will be implemented in the UK on 1 October 2011 through the Agency Workers Regulations 2010. The purpose of the Directive is to provide temporary agency workers with the same basic employment and working conditions, such as pay, bonuses, holidays and all other company benefits as permanent staff.

The directive will mean that after 12 weeks in a given job, an agency worker will be entitled to the same treatment and rights as that of a permanent worker doing the same job.

HRL has now installed an intelligent web based monitoring system which will ensure that HRL and their clients will adhere to the Agency Workers Directive, handling all the business and operational reporting aspects of managing temporary staff.
